Q: How do I log into FTP?
A: You can log into FTP by using a normal FTP client and ftp.YOURDOMAIN.com as the server and the username and password you used when signing up.
Q: How do I check my email?
A: Once you have setup email accounts using your control panel, you can check your email with an email client by entering mail.YOURDOMAIN.com as the incoming POP server and mail.YOURDOMAIN.com as the outgoing SMTP server. You can also access webmail by going to http://YOURDOMAIN.com/webmail. Use your full email address as the username (ex. you@yourdomain.com) and the password used when creating the email account.
Q: What are your nameservers?
A: Our primary nameserver is dns1.cheapwebhostingservices.com (216.120.226.247) and our secondary nameserver is dns1.cheapwebhostingservices.com (216.120.226.248).
Q: What is the path to Perl/sendmail?
A: You can find the path to perl and the path to sendmail from within your control panel.
Q: How do I upgrade/downgrade my account?
A: If you would like to upgrade or downgrade your account, go to our contact page and let us know how you would like your account to be changed.
Q: How do I request more email addresses/space/bandwidth/etc?
A: If you need more emails, bandwidth or space, you will need to upgrade to a larger package.
Q: Do you allow SSH or Telnet access?
A: We do not allow SSH or telnet access to our servers for security reasons.
Q: How do I transfer/upload my site?
A: We offer FTP, Frontpage extensions, and an online file manager. We will transfer your site for you for a fee.
Q: Do you have a guarantee on uptime?
A: We have a 99% uptime guarantee.
Q: How do I cancel my account?
A: If you would like to cancel your account, please use our contact page to let us know. Although it is not necessary, a brief explanation as to the reason the account is being closed is appreciated.
Q: How do I change my billing information?
A: You can use our contact page to change any billing information.
Q: What if I forget my password?
A: Please email customer service to request a password change. You must send this request from the email in which you used while registering.
Q: What versions of server software are you running?
A: You can find most version numbers as well as other information about the server you are running on from within your admin.
Q: How do I use the control panel?
A: The control panel is very easy to use. If you are having problems, consult the "Documentation" link at the bottom of the control panel.
Q: How do I access my control panel?
A: To access your control panel, go to http://YOURDOMAIN.com/controlpanel
Q: How do I create FTP accounts, email accounts, MySQL databases, subdomains, etc?
A: You can do all of these features from within your control panel if they are enabled for your account.
Q: How do I access my site statistics?
A: We provide many types of statistics. All statistics are listed under "Stats" within your admin.
Q: How long does it take to setup my account?
A: Your account is immediately set up once payment is received, but domain changes can take 24-48 hours.
Q: What is your minimum contract length?
A: We do not have any minimum contract length. We accept payment on a month by month basis.
Q: Why would my account be suspended?
A: Accounts can be suspended without notice if the terms of service is violated.
Q: How do I get my account unsuspended?
A: Please use our contact page to contact us about any account suspension.
Q: Why won't my website show up when I upload an html file? / What file names are acceptable for the default/index page?
A: You must upload all html files and other files that you would like to be available to your public_html directory. Also, your index/default page must use one of the following filenames (in order of precedence)

Q: How can I park my domain?
A: Enter the nameservers into your domain registrar and then select "Manage Parked Domains" from within your control panel.
Q: How do I register my domain?
A: There is an option to register a domain on our signup page or you may go to our optional services page to signup for a domain.
Q: Does my domain have to be registered prior to setting up an account?
A: Yes. Your domain should be registered prior to setting up your account, but you can register one on our signup page.
